Controversial (in the USA) Survey

Like Amanda, I don't see what's so controversial about it.

No. Dun liek drugs. Specially if they're pilleted.

For. Choice is good.

[04] Do you think the world would fail with a female president?
No, and we even have a gay female prime minister in Iceland. There should be more female pollies, to be sure.
Now I'm going to misinterpret that as a French female president. Nope. People'd vote for Segolène Royal if she ran today. Heck, she was the other main candidate.

[05] Do you believe in the death penalty?
No, not really. As a author, it adds drama, but you don't need it.

[06] Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
If they did, would people shut up about drugs already? It may have some medicinal properties, and nobody's died yet.

Meh. Your choice. Who am I to preach?

Occasionally I have an epiphany of faith, but most of the time, he/she/it's watching in the back of my head while I ignore it.

Yes. Then again, this has a good point.

Nope. Go for multiculturalism. Eh. What's so bad about asylum seekers, anyway?

[11] A twelve year old girl has a baby, should she keep it?
Well, clearly she wanted it, since she didn't have an abortion. But, it's going to be so hard for her! And at a young age!
The lassiez-faire attitude applies here. You can cry, but it's her decision. And don't sway it!

[12] Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen?
Apparently, it is. I don't actually see anything wrong. Although, maybe Schoolies week is a little over-represented.

[13] Should the war in Iraq be called off?
It sort of is. What's the point? Get detectives to find bin Laden; get special police to work with the people in a sensitive manner to educate them about disaster prevention...wait, that's Afghanistan. My bad. Anyway, if they're sheltering terrorists, they're thinking that they're freedom fighters.
But wait, if you give them a voice, it legitimises the rebellion. But then, people'd actually have a say in the government. It's their country, after all.
OK. My logic so far is that, we, meaning the coalition (THANKS, Howard. THANKS.) should withdraw, then replace the military with forces to train the locals in an apolitical way. No conversions, or anything. Also, al-Q'aida clearly represent a fundementalist minority. We should give people thinking of joining it another way of expressing their feelings. Not all suicide bombers were going to be so. Also, stop making things so damn noticeable! Damage prevention and containment is necessary.

[14] Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?
No. Carefully regulated, it is a more dignified way to die.

Yes. If they're naughty. Not too much, though, and not on the face. That's mean. And most definitely not for insubordination. You are not God. Yes, you made a baby. But that doesn't mean that you are superior to it.

Why the hell not? I'd love the money. I don't get this all getting hung up on patriotism thing of America. Also, it's not for anything political. It's not like another 11/9.

Obama. Because we can't stand more of the same.

[18] Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
Naah. We're all lefties when we're young, or so the establishment says.
