Also, bowties are cool. I just can't stress it enough.
Here, there would be a picture of Sydney with a tie. If the upload worked.
And here, there would be a picture of Han with a girl's tag. If the upload worked.
And here, I would attempt to explain why Matt was being called a gay dancer, but I don't know why myself (and neither does Matt).
And here, I would say that today was the bludgiest day ever. Except for PE, where we were shovelling mulch.
And now, a witty comment that goes on forever.
And now, a statement celebrating the end of school and junior years.
And now, a complaint about missing job application deadlines.
And now, a farewell and a hopeful wish for the future.
And now, a snarky comment about how I cbf.
Good night!
And now, a cut for those not interested.

What Whould You Do? (For A Final Assembly)
Or, Pet Theories II
Or, Deliberate Tyop Is Deliberate
Or, No Memespam Here, Promise! (There will be pic/linky spam, though. Not photos, gotta upload those.)
Today was TEH! LASTEST! ASSEMBLY! EVAR! (for the Year 12s, anyway.)
Unfortunately, I can't scan with this computer/printer combination. Fortunately, you don't have to see all the purple fail drawings. (I fail at drawing *that* coat.)
I need something to sketch, give me something to sketch - please?
Hypothesis 1/Pet Theory 3:
Upon donning a senior uniform, most people become straight-laced, mature, and (apparently) appealing.
Hypothesis 2/Pet Theory 3a:
Evidently the guy who came up with the "Asian Playboy Bunnies" sequence didn't get the memo. Or was on acid or something.
*drawing of fez FNAP/linebreak*
Also, WTF So Bad It's Horrible "rappers"?
Also also, Kennifer-chan had a senior tie today. (And so did Victor K.) Kennifer-chan - Only Sane Man
The guitarist for the Battle of the Bands segment was quite good, though. And the next girl group. (Initially, individually, at least.)
Pet Theory 5:
Apparently the girls of '92/'93 are more musically talented than the boys.
Oh, god! The terrible harmonising!
The "all-songs" format was a bad idea. Really bad.
Stacey Law of the Beyond The Impossible ATAR!
If I ran a Year 12 Final Assembly...
*sketches*
Damn it. I had a good few in there, too. Shout me if you want a look.
Also, tomorrow I'll be at the RuseID thing. Yeah.
Also? Friday. After school. My place. End-of-termparty DW marathon watching.
Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY KERRY, KENNY, EMILY, YUN & LJ! (And Freya.) (I would put a pic here, but it's on my lappy.)
Note to self: Get stuff off lappy; get stuff on lappy; get tape/correction tape/reliable pens?

YAYY Procrastination. Not.
Or, I Am So Fucking Bored I Don't Give A Shit (Reprise)
Really, how else do you explain the sudden lack of work done? (Apart from TVTropes and fanfic, but we won't go there.) (Or theinexorable flood of assignments/exams/other shit, but we won't go there.)
I haven't done any proper work in about a week. And now, well, shit. If only weekends were longer, but that would be defeating the point of a week-end, which are like bookends to a week, and now I'm not making any sense so I'll stop now.
Really, I just feel like unleashing a ton of xkcd/TVTropes linkys here, so, just go here before I change my mind: http://xkcd.com/
Over and out.
P.S. If you want to fin out what I'm meant to be mentallyunprepared for, just read the tags, it'll help some.
P.S.S. Nobody gives a shit about the election, but it still looks like a hung parliament for now.
P.S.S.S. Jim's changed his blog theme @ http://duvrangnir.blogspot.com/.
P.S.S.S.S. Someone tried to blow up Discovery Channel HQ in the US. He died. The lesson, kids, is to no blow up stuff, because you'll die, one way or another. I know people die, but really, I'd rather die when I'm good and ready.
Signing off.

Annoyed Citizens Anonymous, Or, On The Judicious Use Of Running Away
And you must laugh or I will snicker at you.
*snicker* *snicker*
[Han: *snack*]
Well, this is shaping up to be a very long post and I've just read an article on how to use the jump cut, so let's experiment.
Allons-y.
Well, what can I say? Firstly, I just did a French test earlier today. We'll attribute all outbreaks of French to that. Secondly, I like squeezing in references (that was planned), and I, well, still think "Geronimo!" sounds stupid, or at the very least, not brilliantly appropriate
Well, it's high time I started posting again. It's been a long time, friends, enemies & neutral parties. Let's work backwards.
So, I just finished the survey. Damn well annoying it is too. I don't like surveys. At the very bottom (no, above the comments, what few there are) are some of the more...vitriolic feedback. Did I ever tell you that I was bad at doing evaluations?
So then, in last double-period Maths, first Mr Woodhouse walked in and started talking about the rankings and 3-unit maths, blah-di-blah-blah. Basically, as Mrs Briggs boiled it down to, if you're on the bottom end of theclass Year 10 equivalent of the bottom of 10E, if you don't shape up, your application for Extension 1 Maths may be knocked back. So then that sparked a discussion about scaling and stuff and when the subject selection form was due. So, the obvious happened when Ms Connors walked in to say that she wanted us students to attend the Parent Information Night next week - she was fired with questions. Oh, BTW, the subject selection form is due August 6th.
Not much happened in English. We kept on reading "The Importance of Being Earnest" and watching bits.
In Ag, the first of the presentations started. Hmm...might have trouble on the confidence front if, well, yeah.
In French, we had the Unité 5 test. I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THIS.
In Science...more inactivites and tangential talking with Mr Kowalski, part 221?
In IPT...we've apparently started our Transaction Processing "option".
Yesterday...did anything happen yesterday? Oh, right, Parent/Teacher Interviews. For the sake of my life I ran away. That's why I wasn't there. Oh, and I managed to lose 4 seconds off my 1.6 time (now 12:24) and 1 kilo. Not much, but an improvement, all the same. (and I'd just eaten a pie.)
On Wednesday, we lost 2-1 to Baulkham Hills. Again. Hey, at least we scored a goal. Then we watched Oatlandsget owned by play...erm, this random school from out Blacktown way. Kings-something.
In English, Ms St Louis decided that we were very rude to the sub on Tuesday and needed a good ol' talking-to. Turns out McFadyen gave us something we'd already done.
In Ag...we lopped cauliflowers and pulled out the rest. Then we drew names out of ahat box to decide the order of the talks.
In Maths...I staggered in 27 minutes late, well-winded, because I'd been late for the car (not my bloody problem I had a health problem) and ended up with a little booklet.
On Tuesday, it was the Brain Bee.The ultimate test of neuroscience. So, first I missed the bus by 15 minutes...yeah. Then I just caught it at Granville. Nearly got run over by a car. (I invoke Quantum Immortality here.) Then, I was at the back with Kerrie, Ben, Matthew and Victor, with occasional appearances from Jim. (Claudia arrived at UWS by herself, presumably.) Then I guess I did OK in the Individual quarter-finals. (Oh, look! Free t-shirts!) Then came the team semi-finals, to which Matthew played a little guessing-game with Johnny and I about the answers. Then we had recess, of fruit, fruit tarts (well, passionfruit), custard tarts and cake. Which was not a lie. (Although the promised lunch barbeque was. I DON'T LIKE tomato/egg/cucumber sandwiches!) And then we had lectures and the team finals. Which I promptly slept through. We came third. Behind Baulkham Hills & PLC. And then we had lunch. The sandwiches were horrible. Knew I shouldn't have eaten those apple pies at recess. The quiche and cake, to a lesser degree, was alright. Then we had the tour of the (computer) lab, where we got to shock each other. Only stood up to 3 mA, moi. I decided to go sit with the Newcastle Grammar people to mingle a bit, because everyone was sitting with their own school, isolationists, all of them; which meant I got paired (grouped?) up with two girls named Sarah and Sam. They were nice enough, I suppose. Don't think I could go up to 20 mA, though. Then it was time for the individual finals, where Beryl, Johnny, and surprisingly, Jim got called up as part of the final 12. Then they were all eliminated (Johnny by way of several silly mistakes, although I didn't know some of them myself), till Jim, a girl from PLC (named Mercy) and a chap from BHHS (can't spell his name, but he was the clear winner) were the only ones left. Roshan later said that Jim lost because of two silly mistakes. Then again, he managed to come third, behind BHHS chap and PLC girl (yes, I noticed), so he did alright. Silly certificates, though. (Cheap printer paper.) He'd won an iPod, from which he became inseparable (and with which he ran the 1.6).
Oh, and I just posted a lot of old drafts that I found cluttering up the top.
And Jim has a webcomic. Huh. Don't have a tag for him. WTF? There is one now, at least.
Anyway, here's a little rant from the survey (delivered on pg. 15), published for your edification:
And for added Curriculum Reviewsnark responses, see the link. Erm...here: http://sites.google.com/a/jamesruse.nsw.edu.au/central/misc/curriculum-review/files/stafff_mtg_160310.pdf?attredirects=0
Huh. The "blacking out names" policy is now dead, buried and cremated. In that order. Yes, Jim, that is the reason why we have a very burnt patch of ground out thataways.
Arrivederci, and à bientôt! *wave*

Have you seen the way they use laptops? Word processing and workbooks! We could just as easily write it out by hand, though it's likely that most people would complain a bit. I ask you, is it any wonder that students are putting them to slightly better use by watching videos? There are plenty more programs on the laptops. Teachers: USE THEM. The most we got out of it was probably when they were new and teachers wanted to experiment with the programs. Now that it's all old news, nobody wants to try out the different programs and there aren't any incentives to do so! And also, the intranet is underdeveloped; many sections are basically "This is a new page, yet to be filled out by people who can be bothered". In short, the Education Revolution that Ms Gillard promised us back in '07 still hasn't arrived. We're basically still only using the laptops in place of desktop computers - to trawl Wikipedia and regurgitate said info onto assignments. The OneNote thing is an afterthought, used only in certain theory-based classes. And on the next page:
Q. 3 - Were these questions tailored for the options picked on the first page? Because I still don't see my Year 11 subject selection form; I don't remember a Year 10 camp, Gloucester or Peer Support, etc.Oh, dear...well, the events calendar is only for students, so we can't really look at when we can expect a reasonable cut-off date...anyway.
Q. 6 - Yeah, pity we CAN'T ACCESS THEM ANYMORE. We students used to be able to view the Sentral calendar. It would help a lot if we were able to access this. Not everyone has full access to the grapevine of information that is the teacher confiding details about when the test has been fully written.
And for added Curriculum Review
Huh. The "blacking out names" policy is now dead, buried and cremated. In that order. Yes, Jim, that is the reason why we have a very burnt patch of ground out thataways.

vendredi 21 mai 2010
2 days. And new postcards.
So today, was, well, a bit of the usual. There was nothing much happening, except for the year meeting. But I'll get to that later.
Firstly, requiescat in pace, grandma. (d. 4:30 am, 19/5/10). I might have to attend the funeral on Monday, so don't expect me around.
Secondly, thank God there was no IPT this morning, I was so washed out after Tuesday, that I just didn't do anything on Wednesday.
Thirdly, yeah, we lost 2-0 in soccer yesterday. I consider myself chastised.
Fourthly, badminton was fun. Good job, guys! (No sarcasm intended.)
Fifthly, English was just...LOL, nothing happened, moving on.
Sixthly, at recess I was running around the place. It turns out that Ms Connors wanted some people to hand out flyers for the musical.
Seventhly, HG...um...can't find anything to say...watched a DVD by AusAID about aid (duh) and got a "booklet" (to me, booklets are folded.). Burgess predicted that we'd talk about the formal committee and other stuff like that.
She turned out to be right. Wait, let me get my notes on this (yes, I made notes SPECIFICALLY so I'd remember what happened so I could write it up here.).
What happened in the Year Assembly today
1 hour
Stretch
Warmup: partner throwing and catching
(8 mins for above)
17 mins for skill development: base drills
30 mins modified game
Oh, and at the beginning, when I arrived, we had a little discussion on how there were really 4 groups/demographics in our class, the fourth group being "[me] [Me] and Jim and Han and the rest". More on that later.
And then the bell rang and I had to run all the way to T block. Ridiculous, for a maths class, n'est-ce pas? (Isn't it?)
Apparently, they'd done ASTC yesterday, but I sat through the explanation anyway. (Because I was bored, that's why.)
And then we had Ag, where I asked Jim and Steven if they felt they would be accurately represented by Matt, who, no offence, isn't really part of Jim's social circle. Then Roshan comes in and just was a general ass. (Not bullying, it's been used to describe him before, and yeah, he is kinda that. At. All. Times.) And then Jim & Steven say that they're perfectly fine with Matt representing them. And that I couldn't possibly do better. (That IS what they said. Just paraphrased because my memory's awful.) And then David and Han come in, and Han goes out looking for his lappy. Which turned out to be in his bag after all. And then Roshan accused David of "not sounding like him[self]", which David said was bullying. Right accusation, wrong person.
So then, David, Han and I, after I asked them basically the same question as Jim and Steven (and Roshan), got into a involved discussion about how there were at least 5 social groups, because Steven, Emery, Albert V., Eric and the like formed another social group, and that Han and I were clear out of the main social groups (him because he likes to think of himself as an autistic psychopath (his words, paraphrased and concatenated); and me because I'm a social butterfly; I go from group to group whenever I feel like it). So then I should have stood as a representative for myself or not at all. I wonder if I could possibly join?
And then I went to the library.
And yes, there are new postcards today, I went up after school and looked. And took a few, in addition to a newspaper, New Scientist Careers Guide, HSC timetable and a flyer for a competition.
And I did library duty; apparently Ms Romanov and Mrs Kunz can't be here during lunch, so Mrs Hayes is taking over tomorrow.
And then I went home, pigged out on apple pies and custard tarts, went on the computer, played Infectionator (conquered the world in 129 in-game days, I think) and typed this up. Oh, and copied out the manières de dire for French tomorrow. Still need to draw a farm model.
And also; for the benefit of those who haven't studied IPT; to link to my blog, use this code:
And also, you'll notice that I've given up on dashes and now am just highlighting in black to hide the names of teachers so that I can't be sued (hopefully.)
Right. Night, people.
EDIT: LOL? Masterpieces stolen in Paris
EDIT: And did I forget to mention that I borrowed "Alcatraz and the Scrivener's Bones", "The Book of Time" and "Abernewtyn Mon Amour" today? Yeah.
Firstly, requiescat in pace, grandma. (d. 4:30 am, 19/5/10). I might have to attend the funeral on Monday, so don't expect me around.

She turned out to be right. Wait, let me get my notes on this (yes, I made notes SPECIFICALLY so I'd remember what happened so I could write it up here.).
What happened in the Year Assembly today
- Freya raised the most in 40-Hour Famine last year; she got a box (probably a metal bottle) and a Mathaid from Mr Perrins (who's now the Year Adviser (again), because Mr Lees decided to take a LSL (again) and leave Burgess as Head HSIE (again). What's not happening again is we're not having Mrs Hameed for Assistant again, this time we have M. Wilson (LOL, I found out in French on Monday, just forgot to post it. And yes, the fact that I've said M. (for Monsieur) and not Mr is vaguely significant. Gives you a clue what I'm talking about if you didn't know already.))
- Speech by Ms Wratten (gee, we have a lot of teachers whose last names start with "W"):
- cheating in exams
- (cyber-)bullying, harassment and discrimination are NOT OK
And on that note, I never have and never will bully anyone on this blog. I don't bash Linda Wu (mostly because I have no idea what she's saying half the time, and most people say that it's what she says; and that she has never, ever said a bad word to me (that I heard, anyway)); I don't bash people who hate me (unless I'm in a really bad mood, and I don't bully people, full stop, period, point); I don't bash Mr Kowalski (it's meant to be constructive criticism. Even at its very meanest I don't insult him. Hopefully.); I don't bully ANYONE HERE. Is that clear? Right.Right, point of policy here. No bullying by me. That's all I'm going to say.
- Caleb performed a work on the piano; it was "Spanish Caprice" by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. It was beautifully performed. Good work. (I almost cried.)
- Mr Yeo addressed the HSC students in the room (of whom I was one, but thankfully not one of those addressed). He said that if we didn't collect our PIN from his room and gave him a specimen (his word) of our signature, he would delete our HSC topic and we wouldn't be able to sit it. (Hmm, maybe I should have avoided it for as long as possible.) Oh, and if we had a query, we would have to submit a letter to the BOS, where we would be identified with our signatures.
- Johnny got up and basically thanked everyone involved in the barbecue on Shades for AIDS day, when there was mufti. Oh, and for people who do do High Resolves, it's on um, next Monday, p. 6 & 7.
- M. Wilson handed out some forms (basically the only thing I saw him do during the whole thing), one for listing all the extracurricular activities that we did and one for paying for our ballroom dance thingy.
- Oh, and we elected the Formal Committee, did I mention? (I probably did.) (Committee's a silly word.) Basically, Ben (representing Kerrie, Carmen, Claudia, Sydney, Geoffrey and himself), Matt (representing "the boys") and Leanne (representing her group) were elected, Ben because he didn't really do anything much (that's what he said). Naturally, I missed out. I'm ashamed to say that I wasn't exactly a good loser. I'd calmed down by the time I'd gotten out of the hall, though.

:<:a href = "http://what-is-it-that-it-is.blogspot.com/":>:[insert text, images (using :<:img:>::<:/img:>: tags), whatever here]:<:/a:>:OR:
:<:a href="http://what-is-it-that-it-is.blogspot.com/" target="_tab":>:[insert text, images (using :<:img:>::<:/img:>: tags), whatever here]:<:/a:>:and just remove all the colons (":") from it (because otherwise, without the colons the code wouldn't show up on this page) and replace the text within the square brackets. Hey, don't look at me like that, we had to learn this in IPT.
Yeah.

Failure to have a very nice day
(draw a card)
Playing Mao online is almost pointless. The deck'd run out quicker than the game.
Speaking - draw a card.
Oh, shut up, we're not playing Mao.
And since when have I been plural?
As the joke goes, the only people sort-of allowed to use singular "we" are royalty, pregnant women and multiple personality disorder sufferers, so which am I? I should hope none of the above.
Hmm. You, dear reader, shall have to work hard to shift the debris of my mental processes aside to glean any useful information (or not) about what happened to-day.
And no, I am not high. I'm a rollercoaster with a high potential energy.
Hmm, I suddenly feel like downloading "Not Fair" by Lily Allen from bandit.fm because I have so much credit left from all the chip packets I ate. Which is like a bell curve in the middle of a flat line parallel to zero.
OK, I'm just high (or low) enough to attempt cheering myself up by aeroplaning up the stairs and, you know.
Looks like I'm in the usual all-time low mode tonight. At least the past few weeks have been a fun social experiment. Not that I was recording data. You know, being cheerful for a bit.
Science? Who said anything about K________ being bad? The stuff I've heard about T's teacher is even WORSE. Yes, really.
Also, I've kinda given up on trying to be weird. I'M JUST THE [CENSORED] AVERAGE HERE. I just wanted to be special. No, not in the B(oard)OS way.
Why are you crying? No, I don't know why I'm crying. Sometimes it happens.
Why is the Internet so slow? I dunno, is it copper cables we have out here?
And in Ag, people pulled Kenny's hair for no apparent reason. And Kenny and Shelley and Jim and I were playing 1 1/2 games of Big 2. Mhmm. *nods head emphatically*
And I got 21/30 and Han got 14/30, so we're all happy. Except for Jim, who was one mark shy of 25/30, and possibly Shelley, who lost half a mark on something about record keeping.
But still.
Maths? Nothing much, except Ashley probably didn't feel too comfortable under the microscope today. I dunno.
Sport, it was alright. Being mobbed isn't too pleasant, though. And getting a ball kicked RIGHT IN THE SHOULDER just before the final whistle isn't too pleasant, either. At least we didn't get pwnt epically, we lost 1-0.
What do I eat, what do I eat?
Oh, and if you were wondering, I ended up having those weird noodles that come all wound up. Bit hard to explain. And then more Neapolitan ice cream.
Phys Olympiad was almost OK, even though Mr K______ said that this was all easy.
Then again, this is exactly the sort of stuff covered in, ooh, what was it, Chapter 7 of Science Focus 4?
Well, that was good procrastination(!)

Aujourd'hui, c'est presque le fin de semaine.
Well, I guess I've never had a post on grade sport before today. BUT I'M NOW PRO ENOUGH TO PLAY GRADE SPORT DURING BOTH SEASONS YAYY!!!!!
Well, I got into the Soccer 15's team by default. It was a fluke, I swear!
On a different topic, if you've seen my lappy today, you'll noticed I stuck a table of alt-codes on it. You know, for special characters and all.
Wait, you can just type Unicode‽
Damn, it doesn't work.
Anyway, the only comment I've had was from Han, who said it was awesome, but how was I going to read it with the screen up? (Answer: turn the lappy around. It's not like it's upside down when you open the screen.)
And as an added bonus, the "Lenovo" now reads "le", the rest being obscured,
The table is there to stay! (Hey, at least it's unique.)
What happened yesterday? Geo assessment task was freaking easy (at least I must have learned something while dozing my way through it), Anzac service was...meh (who cares about the exact details of how they repatriated (you can use that word, you know) the guy who now occupies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier?) and the rest of the day was alright. At least we didn't have a French test, we had the same sub as on Monday. And according to Beatrice, since we don't have school on Friday and Monday, the earliest the test could be would be next Friday.
OMFG FINISH COOKING ALREADY MUM I REALLY WANT TO EAT NOW.
Anyway, when I got home, Mum and 'Sandra had to go swimming, so I got on the computer, with the intention of finishing off my Geo sheet (oops.) and ended up ... doing absolutely nothing constructive whatsoever.
And then I got sent to do homework, but I was like, "I can't work in this room, it's got too much stuff!"
So then it took me two hours to throw out almost all my newspapers, and then another two hours to sort out the stuff worth keeping into categories. Then it took me one hour to go to bed and it was like, 3 am.
And then Mum came in the morning and piled all the stuff up.
FREAKING HELL, JUST LET ME TIDY UP MY ROOM ON MY OWN, DAMMIT!
And then I woke up, looked at the time and was like, why didn't the alarm wake me up? WTF?
I'd SPECIFICALLY set the alarm to wake me up so that I could have a shower AND have time to do Maths.
And then I went to school, nothing much happened (thank God) and then Phys was cancelled, then went home, had a short nap (don't ask where), had a shower, then got on the computer, then now.
NOOOOO THERE'S STAINS ON THE ALT-CODE TABLE ON MY LAPPY BECAUSE I SNEEZED ON IT.

Mon dieu, j'ai besoin d'un boisson
If you, like Xiong, ghost my blog, absorbed the whole of TVTropes AND read some French (or have access to Google Translate), you should get the reference.
Maybe I should down the entire contents of the champagne bottle in the fridge downstairs in the kitchen. (On the first floor here, avec my more reliable computer.) Not much has been drunk out of it, may I add.
Well, merde.
Haven't done anything remotely productive in the holidays. And now I'm going to get owned by the Geo test.
On an unrelated note, have I stated often enough that I love my massage cushion?
On another unrelated note, I like my Firefox Persona/skin. It's like, nice and floaty. And did I mention that it looks like an elaborate version of a fleur-de-lis? Very relevant, that. To my novel, that is.
...wait, what. There's a fleur-de-lis skin for Firefox?
Meh. It's just not classic like mine is. (I didn't create either of the skins, BTW, I'm just using it.)
It is very remiss of me to [synonym of "forget" starting with "o"] to install Australian and French dictionaries for Firefox on either computer.
Merde. Neither dictionary is compatible with this version of Firefox (3.6.3).
I'll split off the novel discussion into a separate post, yeah?
This is a medium-length collection in semi-list format of long updates on my life, eh?
Today was the first day of school. I'll put it in a tag, too.
What a nice bookend to the holidays.
Anyway, I have a new favouritesong album, I can't pick a song, most of them are good. It's called Pays Sauvage by Emily Loizeau. I borrowed it from Parra library last week. Also, most of the songs are in French.
Anyway, about school.
Meh. Wasn't as bad as expected. LOL, W_____ didn't show up for the French test AS USUAL. Instead we got a sub and our first "Ça Va?" magazine. It's not as hard as expected, but I've only had the barest of flips through. Damn, wish I could have free entrance to Parisian museums, like the Louvre and Versailles. (Hey, that's what it said. Not to mention that free entrance to Versailles would be useful, also for the novel.)
Ag, c'est comme d'un seau [bucket] d'eau froid. SO MUCH. IT'S SO MUCH STUFF I SHOULD'VE DONE. Merde.
Science was two periods of "WTF, Mr K________" as per usual. I wonder if he's even going to bother to explain what induction is. Like Han (last time), when he was talking about Tesla, I was like, "Tesla coil...". Yeah, not much there.
English was moderately cool; we had a video. Which I promptly slept through. Hey, what d'you expect? I'd only had a few hours of sleep.
IPT...ah, shit. No comment.
And that was my (out-of-order) day.
Did I mention that Sunday Doctor Who was cool?
Especially the food scene.
Music's random, though.
Font of opening title's kinda random too.
Right, I should get back to Geo, then IPT.
EDIT: J'ai oublié! Bon anniversaire, Becca!

Affiche un fish! (formerly titled "So...bored...(Poisson d'avril!)")
April Fool!
What I'm doing right now: singing along to Lily Allen songs.
Ah well, there's nothing else to do at the moment.
So in English (1st period), I was kinda bored (cause M______ was away and we didn't really have anything to do) so then I made a literal couple of fish for April Fool's Day (because IT'S FRENCH, yeah!) and then I went and stuck one on Han (reaction: "Aaah, what was it, something d'avril"), Matthew (reaction: not much, I'd kinda told him already) and Sharon's desk (reaction: not much, I don't think she noticed). So then I affiched a fish to my tie thingy (tag, whatever) and one to my lappy. Shut up, the fin does not look like what you think it looks like.
And then it was Maths, and Andrew Mon was like, *persuades Mr W___ to have party not test*. And then we started randomly singing "Happy Birthday" to Mr W___, and he was like, "You serious? That's like, the worst prank ever.!" So then Mrs B_____, who was in the room because her previous class was there, was like, "No, but there's another maths teacher who has a birthday today. I'll come and tell you when I've heard that you've done brilliantly in the test." *leaves*.
So then we had to do the test, and after the test, I asked Mr W___ for a hint, and he was like, "Oh, he likes taking pictures." So, then I went to ask Han...
Ack, message history on MSN isn't showing up.
Anyway.
Then it was double Ag with C____ (LOL, my IT teacher. So that was why she was in the Ag staffroom.) in T1.5, and Shelley and Bonita and I were wikigaming, because we were bored as hell and couldn't be bothered to do the work, cause it was last day of school, and then Roshan joined in and then Shelley left and Bonita left and Tina joined, so it was me-Tina-Roshan, then the bell went.
Oh, and Han found my iPod, but it was some guy's called Jeffery (but I don't believe that), and it had no music, but it was chipped as hell. Just like mine, coincidentally. Or not.
Then it was lunch, but I managed to screenlock the damn thing, and he'd changed the screenlock code. Smart.
Then I showed Abbi and the rest, and they told me to hand it in. So I did.
Then I managed to show up in time for epic 6-square handball, where I got to 3rd from the top because everyone else failed somehow. Then I hit the ball when it wasn't my turn. Bloody hell.
Then it was Geo, and I got to sit on a wheely chair and watch an ep of Lucky Star (the one with the "which side of the chocolate horn do you eat first") because B______ was on Euro trip and we had a sub, Y_, the Jap teacher.
Then it was IT, and we got our exams back, and at least I didn't fail.
Then it was Science, usually the most epic fail ever, especially with Mr K__________, and today he wrote what we were to be tested on in the half-yearly, and then he was like, talking about some random guy who'd competed with Edison on electricity standards, and I was like, "Nikola Tesla!" repeatedly, and then I was like, *puts hand up* "It's Nikola Tesla, isn't it?" and he's like, you've got it, then "Richard Kim, did you hear what she said?" *blank stare* (why does he keep picking on Richard, anyway?) and then "Nikola", and then Roshan interrupts with "Sarkozy", and then Kerrie and I were laughing, and then K_______ finishes with "Tesla. But most of you probably haven't heard of him.", and then I was like, "and 4 out of 5 people in our French class last year didn't know who he was" (suck that, Xiong). Then Carmen was like, "Tesla coil?", and I was like, "generates electricity or something".
Then it was after Science and last period of Term 1, and we (Leanne, Alex, Has and me (sort of)) were all hugging and I get the feeling that K_________ was a little embarrassed. Then I sort of hung around outside the stairs to the library outside Mr Y___'s office (the other one, the Geo teacher), who isn't going on Euro trip this year because "[he's] taking his family to the Gold Coast", and then Mum called me, because she wanted to go and visit a service centre and she needed me along (sort of), and then I told her about the iPod (which I'd lost the cable for with the old iPod, anyway) and then directions, as I usually do, as I have a very good sense of orientation. She said Alexandra (if I call her Alex, you'll get her confused with the Alex in my class, and we don't call her that anyway, and if I call her Sandra, you'll get her confused with the Sandra in my year and house, but we call her that) had gone to a friend's place after the Easter hat parade at her school with her other friend, Chantelle (she has a lot more friends than I did (they were mostly acquaintances)), so then Mum picked me up to go to this service centre (and gave me a chicken skewer/kebab and half a pork roll and a drink), where she made a booking for Saturday 1st May. Then we went home, then she went to pick 'Sandra up at 6, and we've been arguing over uneaten chocolate/reading other blogs/writing blog posts since. So, that was my day. The last day of school.

Ammonium nitrate, l'amour et de la musique
You know what, Tancred? F*** you, I'll rant however and whenever I like.
As Jim would say, OMGWTFBBQ.
No, it's not the title.
It's the lockdown/evacuation/WHATEVER.
Apparently, they received a phone call on a private line and they said scary things about the outfields and a "service entrance". FREAKING GOOGLE MAPS, PEOPLE! HAVE YOU HEARD OF IT?
Also, I love exploring places, and I don't know of any service entrance. Also, no flash on the horizon just yet.
If it was a pipe bomb, it probably would have contained NH4NO3, a.k.a. ammonium nitrate, a.k.a. a chemical in fertiliser, a.k.a. a chemical in saltpetre.
Also, this apparently isn't the first time the school has received an incendiary warning; apparently the English staffroom's building's burned down before.
So, there we were, in the hall, wondering just what the hell was going on (after Mr _____ was like, [sarcasm] Thanks for coming in in about 9 minutes 38 seconds,[/sarcasm] this is a real evacuation) and then they told us to get the furniture out the way, then we had rollcall, then I decided to switch spots with Jim and Leanne to talk to someone (i.e. Tina, Alice (Li), Lena and Nancy) and then we ended up singing. Subverted trope in that the teachers told us to shut up. Yeah, way to go for inspiring stories, teachers. Then Tina said that they might have told us this so that they could bomb us in the hall. (I was thinking about the school in Chechenya, where terrorists took over the school and the police gassed the people inside the hall/lecture theatre. Yeah.) So then, after I got bored of listening to them talking about TV shows (I'm not THAT into it), I spotted Mr K_____ (not my current science teacher, our Replacement Goldfish last year for our science teacher then), who'd been responsible for hustling us into the hall, and decided to ask him about Phys Olympiad tomorrow (it's cancelled, btw) and moved over to where Abbi and co. were or thereabouts. (It was nearer to the other door in the hall, the year 7 door, and just under the canteen.) Then Mrs Connors was like, make way, and then there was something about sniffer dogs and a really crap story. I took the opportunity to text Mum. Then it was like, you can go back to class now, your p. 6 class. So there was a lot of stretching and then we picked up our bags and went to class. Then we went back to class, which had the aforementioned Mr K_____ teaching us (don't know where B____ was) and I ended up napping.
If you read any of the blogs on the side there, most of the blogs that were updated today will probably talk about the bomb. Emily's account is pretty accurate. (Except she didn't mention the singing.)
So then, after school, we were sort of walking out, Mr K. mentioning that he'd rather bomb the bus bay, when we ran across Sydney and Kerrie. Mr K. initally couldn't figure out Kerrie's name, and I wasn't much help either as I thought he was referring to Sydney (his positioning wasn't much of a help/hint), and then I sort of walked with him to the door, and then I commented as I walked on that I'd've bombed the Science block instead, because it had more chemicals. I had to go, as it was a Tuesday, and I had gym, in which I was falling asleep, sort of. And that was my Tuesday.
Oh, and l'amour is a reference to the Euro trip, and they got their shirtsthat day today (I'm writing this on Thursday, as with the last 3 sentences preceding this one).
Fudge, snails and dead chickens (ah, good old schooldays)
OK. Not one of those above listed items did I see today (except the snails, and that's 'cause they live in my fish tank, and not land snails). But because I like roundabout sort-of metaphors and explaining things (but not to my sister), they're there. And no, they do not have to do with things I ate today.
AAAHHH! J'ai beaucoup de "tabs". Il y a plein de mots pour "tab" en français.
J'ai un devoir pour l'agriculture demain et j'ai un essai pour anglais aussi. Et lundi prochain, j'ai un examen pour technologie aussi!
OH NON!
{If you haven't familiarised yourself with Google Translate, now is the time to do so. There's going to be a lot of French in this blog. I need the practice, anyway.}
Well. I've proved that I can panic in at least two written languages (i.e. French and English).
Freaking procrastination. I should be doing my Ag "glorified prac report as assignment" maintenant, mais je fais mon blog. Ahh! I'm hopeless. It's going at a snail's pace!
Well, at least I did alright in ballroom today. 7.5/10 for salsa and 7 for waltz, mainly cause I kept getting wrong-footed. Oh well.
Then in English, instead of an essay, Han and I were testily complaining about the incredibly easy words McFadyen gave us for vocab (BLOODY HELL, CAN WE NOT HAVE FREAKING VOCAB?! IT'S SUCH A PAIN (not that I actually do it...)). Thank God it wasn't an essay day today. Also, McFadyen says if someone's doing Drama monologues they do a slightly different question on Monday.
Speaking of Monday, at least Becca and Linda have 4 more weeks left for presentations. They can't do it without me...right?
Geography was...meh. Nothing much.
Then we had a year meeting on Shades for AIDS. (It's on the 7th of May, people!) I managed to talk Kenny into promoting the forum (Year 10s only) by threatening to do it myself. This'll generate word of mouth.
Maths...what maths? I don't remember what happened, except by the end of the period I had a VERY numb hand.
Ag, nothing happened. Just another bludge period in the library.
During lunch, I suddenly remembered that we had chickens to feed, but by the time I got down there, there were no chickens. I assume they're all dead now.
And about fudge? Just remember, when Albert K. says fudge, he's not necessarily talking about chocolate-flavoured desserts.
Also, guys, if your blog's here, you might want to take it as a subtle reminder to update it if you haven't already.
