Not Quite A Polemic, More An Off-Topic Discussion, Starring Me As "The Devil's Advocate" (Now With Quotes From Series 1 through 5 of Doctor Who (and Han)!)

Or, Ruse girls = slut-faced prostitutes, y/n?
Or, Someone Should Tip Off The SMH To See What The Public Makes Of This, If Only For The Troll Value
Warnings: Justified Bluntness and Vulgarity, also Blatant Lies (occasionally, and not part of main narrative)
"THIS WAS NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING!"
  - Rory Pond-Williams, on discovering that the "stripper" (no, not that one, the other one) that he hired was actually a ex-Ruse girl who'd accidentally worn "inappropriate clothing" and had been mistaken for the real stripper.
If you're a "friend" of Eileen, you might be able to read this: http://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=1828669367111&id=1551636765 . It has more intellectual value than this quick summary for posterity.

Also, in other news, (yes, it is first - reason under the cut...sort of) I have found out that France has a national "youth" channel. It screens Doctor Who, presumably dubbed.

I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry.

OR, A Summary of the School Certificate week (so far)
Did you know that standardised English spelling didn't exist till the 14th century, I believe, because of the invention of the printing press?
I shall proceed to post my account of the preceding week - when I can be bothered to. I have many a few photos Yes Linda, if you behave, I might post the one with you in the foreground. I can always post the one without you. (In fact, I'm not sure which option I picked...)
I hate not having constant access to social networking sites.
It looks like Mum found my stash of RAEGAHOL (tm); she can't stop shouting today. It looks like I've got myself a nasty case of inferiority complex. How nasty? I don't know whether or not this should go under angst, but still. Nasty.
English-lit: meh. Did you hear about the facebook groups? I FORGOT TO WRITE ABOUT RED EARTH.
Science: mostly skills-based.
Maths: I told you I didn't need to study!
History:  ARGH WE DID NOT DO A PRIME MINISTER so I just made an implicit comparison of the Vietnam War to the Iraq War. Also, it was the one with the highest knowledge-to-skills ratio.
Geography: It was alright. Most of it we'd already done in the trials. I still forgot loads.
IPT Skills Computer Skills: WTF IPT in my CS SC? It's more common than you might think.
Then we had "Chem" today. Min-Zhao had a small rant on attendance. Blah blah blah. Heat/light tomorrow.
Also, I went to Liverpool Markets on Saturday; I bought the necklace & a couple of bracelets there.
In sport today, because I was playing with the Yr 11 team today, I can't report on the Yr 10 team today (sorry, sorry); but still, we had an over of awesome. Ria, one of the Yr 11 girls, managed to get the team out 5 times, 2 of which were by bowling out. It was pretty awesome. I didn't get to run much today, because the Model Farms fielders were pretty darn good, but we won 25-8. (They usually get over 50, however.) Because the Yr 10 team won 28-15 as well, we're playing ourselves next week in the finals. BBQ, anyone?
In any case, try to get some of next year's Yr 9s in as well; our team's mostly Yr 11s and 10s, not that that's a bad thing, but some of the Yr 12s'll be retiring next season. Hmm...
Anyway. I can't think of what to say.

It is NOT Battle Royale. It is Assasins (thanks, David)

Seriously people, have you read the manga? It's kinda gory, or so I heard.
I haven't, because I'm probably not going to like it, being the designated prude and all, but it's not really like what you said. It's more like the RPG on the forum.
So yeah. I managed to survive half of lunch. Then I died before I found that elusive bâtard. Because I had to go and buy lunch. Freaking hell.

So, how was my day? It started off bad, became worse, got better, a bit worse and then better.
You read my wangsty posts from this morning, right?
Then, when I was printing something, there was a bit of a paper jam in the printer (not my fault, honest!) and I pulled the paper out, but there was still a bit left.
Mum was like, why'd you pull the paper out, and I was like, because it was jamming the printer.
A few minutes later, she's like, why'd you pull the paper out, and I'm like, BECAUSE IT WAS JAMMING THE FREAKING PRINTER, IDIOT (except without the idiot bit and less loud), and then she fucking beats me up. Bitch.
Then she's like DON'T YOU FUCKING SHOUT AT ME WHY CAN'T I ASK YOU THE SAME QUESTION TWICE, and I'm like, because you asked it, like, 5 minutes ago.
Then I'm like, pointing out the flaws in her appeal to authority and then I'm like, I was going upstairs already, then she's like, "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" and stabs the tissue box.
So I go upstairs and say "D'you know how hard it is to construct a logical argument?", she throws a pâté knife at me (and missed), then I'm like, "It's much harder than shouting "Shut the fuck up", I tell you!"
What a psychopathic bitch. Then again, I heard Jim's mum was worse in the psychopathic range.

Then I'm panicking (sort of) about my PE and Han's like, have you read "Stepford Smiler" on TVTropes, and I'm like, not really, but I know the plot of the book. At least we didn't present today.

Then at recess, I got the name of the guy I was supposed to kill, and it's this guy who I've never freaking heard of. Dude...

In French, we had a test, and it was OK, I guess. At least I got the grammar right, so yeah...

Then in English we had Macbeth recitations. The box failed. Han managed to draw 4 people in a row who couldn't have done it (Claudia, cause she wasn't here; David X, who did it with him; Becca, who had laryngitis, and someone else; I forget).

To be continued...
EDIT (17/3/10):
Whee! Oh shit, I forgot my train of thought.
Stupid Plumpton Babies assignment.
Oh, right.

Then I managed to fall asleep. That happened during the French test too, but I'd finished the test.

Then it was Chem Olympiad, with this awesome guy called Kelvin. His last name might have been Cheung, but I didn't find out. He was cool, like Norman was last year.

Eh, whatever. Most of Monday I've forgotten anyway (fell asleep after gym on Tuesday, woke up at 12 something, couldn't be bothered doing anything, went to bed). So yeah.
